I am so thrilled to have made it as a finalist to the Local Business Awards here on the Central Coast!

These business awards cover a large range of industry categories in various regions to allow specific businesses within communities the chance for nominations. The categories range from Cafe, Hairdresser, Automotive Services right through to Fashion and Retail.

This year I have been nominated in the "Specialised Business" category and have received enough nominations to be placed as a finalist in my category. This means that I will be attending the Local Business Awards Gala Presentation Evening along with sponsors and dignitaries where the winners will be announced.

Nominations are still open so please, if you like my work and support local, small business I would love for you to vote for Soul Story Photography.

Winning this Local Business Award would mean the world to me as I love what I do, absolutely love the clients I am privileged to work with and have been working super hard building my passion into a business here on the Central Coast, but also spanning out into Hunter Valley and Newcastle.

The Local Business Awards will announce when nominations close for each specific region and they'll be accepting votes right up until this date, so please follow the link to vote while we still can.

This year marks the 3rd year I have had the pleasure of shooting the Halworth family in their annual family portrait photoshoot. Each year I have seen the girls grow and the love within the family expand to match. Much to my delight, the family also share my love for horses. Madderson and Ella adore spending time with their sweet pony and stunning horse which we managed to capture perfectly in the equestrian

section of their photos. Knowing that mum Kirsty gets to look back on each of these shoots and see the physical and characteristic changes within her daughters is yet another reminder of why I love what I do so much. And this year she and her husband joined the shoot as well – which means they get to be kept in these memories forever too. Not just for themselves, but for Madderson and Ella too.

If you’re interested to see last year’s photoshoot of these two gems, you can view the photos from their photoshoot here. One year younger, every bit as sweet.

Curious about capturing your own family’s memories to keep safe forever? I’d be happy to chat with you about options for your own lifestyle photoshoot. You can send me a message via our contact form or call or email me to discuss. I’d love to hear from you!
